Philanthropy
Our local Philanthropy is Girls Inc. of St. Louis.  Gamma Phi Beta and Girls Inc. have worked closely in a partnership for more than six years.  Each year our alumnae chapter raises money and collects supplies to donate that are used to support the programs provided by Girls Incorporated of St. Louis.

As part of pur philanthropic efforts, our alumnae group has focused on the library at Girls Inc.  Alumnae have assisted in sorting and organizing the current library and the alumnae group raised $1200 which, along with a $400 matching gift from our International office, was donated to Girls, Inc.

To further our commitment we'd like to donate new books for young women to have available while attending Girls Inc.  If you have a favorite book or childrens' author, it would make a lovely addition to their library.  We will collect new books appropriate for teenage and school age girls at our Founder's Day Celebration.   If you are interested in donating books to the Girls Inc. library or assisting with this project through the Gamma Phi Beta Alumnae Chapter please contact Jackie McIlhagga, philanthropy chair.
